Hageman & Brighton Law Office

Harriet M. Hageman and Kara Brighton began their legal partnership as Hageman & Brighton in Cheyenne, Wyoming on August 1, 2000. Since commencing business, the partners of Hageman & Brighton have worked on numerous water and natural resources issues. Ms. Hageman and Ms. Brighton worked on Nebraska v. Wyoming ; the “roadless litigation” that resulted in the entry of a permanent injunction against the Roadless Rule; management and recovery of endangered and threatened species; and the recently decided term limits case. Hageman & Brighton has handled several environmental land use issues dealing with planning and management, and has been involved with enforcement of the Clean Water Act and the Clean Air Act. The attorneys of Hageman & Brighton currently represents several irrigation districts in Wyoming, as well as the Lower Republican Natural Resources District in Nebraska.
